Commercial or residential dryer vents are cleaned periodically to reduce the risk of fire.The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commissionestimates that in 1998, clothes dryers were associated with 15,600 fires, resulting in 20 deaths and 370 injuries. Fires can occur when lint builds up in the dryer or in the exhaust ductwork. Lint can block the flow of air, cause excessive heat build-up, and result in a fire in some dryers.

DUCTZ of North Phoenix Earns Contract Extension for Davis Monthan AFB

DUCTZ and HOODZ of North Phoenix and Deer Valley has been awarded their first annual contract extension by the USAF!  DUCTZ and HOODZ provide cleaning and inspection for all base paint fume and grease hoods as well as over 150 dryer vents.  The contract (originally awarded for FY2011) is designed to keep air force personnel safe while they train for their primary missions at the base.

DUCTZ Teams clean the Phoenix Country Day School - Children Rejoice!

DUCTZ was called out to do a post-construction duct cleaning at the Phoenix Country Day School.  Time was of the essence as school is scheduled to open next week!  DUCTZ QRT's (Quick Response Teams) assessed the situation and were able to apply the correct duct cleaning science to effectively clean and restore the systems in record breaking time!  Children everywhere were heard to be yelling "thanks DUCTZMAN"!  Another happy day, and and another happy customer!
